Home staging is the process of preparing a home for sale by highlighting its best features, maximizing its space, and creating an inviting environment that speaks to potential buyers. The goal of home staging is to sell the property quickly and for the highest possible price.
-
Staging prepares a home as a market-ready product, not a personal residence. According to the National Association of REALTORS’ Profile of Home Staging, the majority of buyers’ agents report that staging makes it easier for buyers to visualize a property as their future home, and that staged homes receive stronger emotional responses during showings.
On Oahu, where buyers compete across a range of property types and price points, presentation is a key differentiator. Staging communicates scale, function, and lifestyle, helping listings connect with buyers both online and in person. The investment is typically a fraction of a price reduction.

Staging is about preparing your home as a product to appeal to the broadest range of potential buyers, aiming for a swift and profitable sale. In contrast, interior design focuses on personalizing a space to reflect an individual’s or family’s unique style and needs.
Our staging approach blends interior marketing expertise, real estate psychology, and continuous industry education to create spaces that resonate with buyers and help homes sell faster and for more money. While our selections may not align with your personal taste, they’re curated to highlight your home’s strengths and maximize its market impact.

Our staging fee is based on a number of factors including (but not limited to) square footage, number of bed/bath, access type, and location of the property.
Our pricing includes our staging/removal/labor/trucking fees, and rental of furniture and accessories for a 2-month contract term. You may contract for a longer period of time at a set monthly rate. Since each home is unique, we like to personally see each property before providing a formal quote. Our rates are highly competitive within industry standards. Staging packages start as low as $2,250.

Yes, we require a minimum of a 2-month contract for our staging services. From our experience, even with an all-cash offer, clients often prefer to keep the furniture until the escrow process is further along, which typically necessitates the second month. This policy ensures that your property remains beautifully staged during critical stages of the sale process.

Staging your home with OASIS STAGING + DESIGN is simple. On our website, click the ‘GET QUOTE’ button and fill in the form with all required information and any other information you would like to include.
Upon review, we will send you a ballpark estimate. In the case we are unable to come up with an estimate, we will schedule to preview and assess the property in-person. Once the pricing has been finalized, we will send an invoice for 50% of the project total and contract to complete in order to secure an installation date. Remaining balance will be due 2 days prior to scheduled staging date. On staging day, just sit back, relax, and let us do our magic!

Our team works fast and efficiently, we can usually get most homes finished within one day. Typically, we start in the morning and finish in the afternoon.
-
The more time we have in advance is always the best, but we try our best to accommodate our client’s needs even with a tight timeline. Typically, if you can give us at least 1-2 week’s notice, we should be able to fit you into our schedule.
We do not secure installation days or plan until a 50% deposit and completed contract are received.

The best time to stage is prior to listing the property on market. You only get one chance at a first impression! When your home is listed, you want to be sure that it is ready to show at its best, both in MLS pictures and for in-person showings.
Staging takes place right before the photography. All renovation, cleaning, and moving needs to be done prior to us coming in to stage the property.

Vacant staging is for properties that are empty or will be emptied before listing. OASIS STAGING + DESIGN furnishes and styles the space entirely from our inventory, giving buyers something to respond to in photos and in person.
Occupied staging works around the seller’s existing furnishings. We assess what stays, what gets removed, and what gets added from our inventory to present the home in its best condition without requiring a full move-out.
If you’re unsur which applies to your listing, contact us and we’ll help you determine the right approach for your property and timeline.

Oahu’s real estate market is competitive across all price points, from Honolulu condos to North Shore single-family homes. Staged properties tend to generate stronger buyer engagement online and during showings, which can reduce the time a listing sits on the market.
NAR’s Profile of Home Staging reports that buyers’ agents consistently identify staging as a factor that makes it easier for buyers to commit to an offer. While days-on-market vary by neighborhood, price tier, and inventory conditions, a well-presented listing is positioned to attract serious buyers sooner than one that is not.
-
It varies by arrangement. Some sellers pay directly, some listing agents cover the cost as part of their service to the client, and in some cases the cost is split between parties. OASIS STAGING + DESIGN invoices the party responsible per the arrangement confirmed at the time of booking.
-
Physical staging involves furnishing a property with real furniture and accessories before photography and showings. Buyers experience the staged space in person, which supports stronger emotional engagement during tours.
Virtual staging uses digital rendering to add furniture and decor to photos of an empty space. It is a lower-cost option that improves how a listing looks online but does not carry over to in-person showings.
OASIS STAGING + DESIGN offers both. The right choice depends on the property, the listing strategy, and your goals. Contact us to discuss which approach fits your situation.
